A Beaver by Any Other Name...

   OR       ARCTIC VISIONS?

For shame! Because of vernacular evolution (or is it dumb drift?) and the dirty minds of giggling, jaded internet users, a venerable Canadian history institution must change it's name. From today's Province:
"Unfortunately, sometimes words take on an identity that wasn't intended in 1920, when it was all about the fur trade..."

That's the changing of language...
In Mandarine, "Miss" means the daughters from upper-class families, who usually has a couple of maids; Later, it becomes a very polite word for calling young ladies, basically it contains the meaning of young/beautiful/vogue.
But do you know what does it mean now? It means prostitute. People in China change to call all ladies "beauty" now, LOL
